Who Am I?
I am a mentor, a leader. I am the protective big sister you always wanted and the cool mom you may have wished you had. I can relate to your trauma because of my own, and I am open and willing to share the wisdom I’ve gained from experience. I want you to grow and improve and shine in your own right, but no one shines without their own confidence, empowerment, and sense of community; we all want to feel like we fit in and are accepted. And that’s what I’m here to share.What Will You Find Here?
With my novels, I offer relatability and sameness, hope and encouragement. I hope my stories help you feel understood and comforted by the characters in them, because each character is crafted to be a woman (or man) just like you. These stories are romances on the surface, but in the core they are stories of hope and overcoming, filled with characters that pull at your heartstrings and remind you that you, too, can overcome and grow through life’s challenges.
- REAL CHARACTERS: The characters in my novels are beautifully human, filled with flaws, and completely relatable. They frustrate you, they piss you off, they move you to tears ... and you can't help but root for them as they learn and grow through their stories, just as you have through yours.
- HONEST LOVE: Love is messy, filled with passion and hope and joy - but also covered in fear and hurt and often influenced by misunderstanding. I hope you'll relate to the realism I strive to embed in my writing, including all the craziness that makes love the one thing we all crave at some time, on some level.
- UNDAUNTED WOMEN: I am by no means a feminist by stereotypical terms, but I've suffered enough in my personal life to know the value of inner strength and the power of feminine confidence. So from Cass to Christine, from Cameron to Annie, from Renee to every other heroine featured in my novels, I'm working to infuse the spirit and strength of women who endure and survive - women who thrive - as they learn not only to love and accept being loved, but to embrace their ability to live Undaunted.
On social media, I hope to offer bits of encouragement, tips for living an undaunted life, mental health awareness tricks and strategies, and ways for you to move the needle on your personal compass as you move from where you’ve been in life to where you want to be.
You’ll know me by the splash of magenta, classed up by silver and white, because pink’s my favorite color, silver’s my favorite metal, and I love the clean of fresh white. You’ll recognize me by the steadfast resilience of my story, the hope and joy my faith as a Christian gives me regardless of challenges or trials, and my unwavering willingness to encourage and empower others.
